A Personal Message from Founder, Jennifer Abbott, RHIP, CDP
In 2008, while working as a hearing instrument practitioner for a reputable local clinic, I identified a big problem.
I had families visiting me that shared their difficulties of bringing loved ones to appointments due to their mobility or health challenges, and how they wished there was a service that could deliver mobile hearing care directly to them.
This made me wonder how a mobile hearing care service could not only make the life of my existing clients more convenient but would also give other local families access to advanced hearing care that may not otherwise receive it.
That’s why, I started ‘Hear at Home’ to deliver advanced mobile hearing care across Greater Vancouver.
Since then, I have had the pleasure of helping thousands of local families to access advanced hearing care without having to take time away from their work, deal with the stresses of travel or drive Mom/Dad across town.
This has resulted in great partnerships with many local care facilities, hospitals and doctors – making ‘Hear at Home’ one of the most trusted and award-winning hearing care teams in the Greater Vancouver area.
In 2022, after much demand for a centralized clinic, we opened the doors to our state of the art clinic with an array of advanced audiological equipment at Delbrook Plaza, Vancouver – ensuring that our award-winning hearing care is now available to everybody, regardless of where you are in your hearing journey.
With simple, fair, and transparent pricing and services, including hearing consultations, hearing aid technology fitting, and hearing aid repair – we ensure that nobody with a hearing challenge, in our community, goes without the expert help they need.
