Our first contact with Jennifer was for a hearing assessment for my 90 year old Mum. Mum was able to be assessed in the comfort of her recliner in her own home and didn't have to make numerous trips to a clinic. Jennifer was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to offer us a wide range of hearing aids. Follow up has been very good as Mum has needed setting changes as her hearing declines. Jennifer also provides monthly checks and cleaning at Mum's retirement home. With a family history of deafness on both my parents sides I decided to have Jennifer assess my hearing in my early 60's. She impressed on me that it is better to get hearing aids earlier than later as hearing is not just about volume but also speech recognition and once that declines it can't be recovered. I was fitted with the most up to date technology with recharging batteries and blue tooth capability. Follow up was excellent. I have on numerous occasions recommended Jennifer to friends and would highly recommend her to others who are experiencing hearing loss.

I don’t usually write reviews for companies, but I just had to share my experience this time. Jennifer was attentive, efficient and professional. My grandmother lost her hearing aid at her nursing home. Jennifer understood the urgency and got it replaced as soon as possible, by rushing to the home as soon as she got the hearing aid mailed to her. Every step of the way, she took the time to communicate with my family as well as the nursing home staff. She would send me pictures and call me to keep me updated. She also made sure that we were completely satisfied with the product. Jennifer went above and beyond by helping my family manage a very stressful situation. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a hearing aid for themselves or a loved one.

My mom has hearing impairment that must have been there for a long time but got overlooked, she recently moved into a nursing home in Richmond. We were in the market looking for getting her ear properly tested and find a device that fits both her hearing needs and our budget. My mom has limited mobility so finding out Hear At Home Mobile clinic will come to her is absolutely thrilled. Jennifer responded promptly upon my initial inquiry and appointment was setup within a week. Jennifer is very friendly, patience and accommodating with my mom when testing her (mom doesn’t speaks any English). She explains in detail the test results, types of option available out there, and help us make an informed decision with her professional expertise and experience. Jennifer even goes to extra miles to provide alternative consultation via video call to walk me through the steps trouble shooting and resetting the device after we started using it for 2 months. I explained and showed her the device condition on the video call, she was able to give a diagnosis as well as guide me through the reset process. In just a few minutes the issue was resolved. It was just a technical glitch and a hard reset is all it takes for it to return to working mode again. Jennifer is certainly professional and resourceful. We have an exceptional positive experience with Hear At Home Mobile Hearing Clinic and Jennifer is amazing helping us during the entire course, we would highly recommend her service to anyone who needs hearing aids to be fitted with a caring professional.

My sister and I feel blessed to have met Jennifer from Hear at Home. Getting our mom the help she needed with her hearing has significantly changed Mom's life for the better and, thanks to Jennifer, the entire process was pleasant for all of us. Having our mom being able to hear again truly is amazing but equally amazing is the way Jennifer does what she does. Right from the start of the process her calm, friendly demeanor put all of us immediately at ease. We were a bit concerned about how well our mom would handle the actual hearing test but Jennifer's patience, interjected with appropriate and well-timed humour, had our mom relaxed and understanding what she needed to do in a matter of minutes. Jennifer has a thorough and clear way of explaining things which was especially valuable when it came to understanding the hearing test results, why she was recommending specific types of hearing aids and how to insert and care for the hearing aids we selected. Her response time to phone calls and e-mails was also very prompt which was also greatly appreciated. As well, Jennifer made a recommendation of an alternate communication device to the telephone which has significantly improved quality and quantity of connecting with our mom. I was looking for a certified ear wax removal as I thought that was the cause of my hearing issues and I found Hear At Home. Jennifer did a ear exam and removed wax build up from ears. I can hear clearly again! She also did a hearing test and took the time to talk through my results. Jennifer and the team were helpful, and hospitable. Provided excellent service. Jennifer, was a real life saver when mom lost one of her hearing aids while at the hospital. Jennifer came to mom's bedside, took measurements of mom's ears and ordered a new set of hearing aids. Mom is very happy with both Jennifer and her new hearing aids! After mom returned home, Jennifer visited us at home and checked on mom. Recently, Jennifer visited us again and checked on mom's hearing aids and gave mom another hearing test. While examining mom's ears, Jennifer discovered wax build up, and made the suggestion to see our doctor for an ear flush. We would not of known about the wax, if Jennifer had not examined mom's ears. Jennifer has taken the stress out of both the management of mom's hearing and the maintenance of her hearing aids. We can not thank you enough Jennifer!

Position: Customer Care Representative

We are a leading hearing clinic, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with hearing loss. We are currently seeking a dynamic and empathetic Customer Care Representative to join our team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Provide accurate information about our hearing services and products
  • Assist clients in completing necessary forms and paperwork
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Collaborate with Hearing Aid Practitioners and support staff to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, striving for effective resolutions
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional needs

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathetic and patient-oriented approach when dealing with customers
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and appointment scheduling software
  • Prior experience in customer service or healthcare industry preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with audiology or hearing-related terminology is a plus

Job Title: Mobile Hearing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated Mobile Hearing Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality hearing services to our clients, travelling to various locations throughout the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and provide recommendations for appropriate treatment options.
  • Fit and program hearing aids and other assistive devices.
  • Provide follow-up care and adjustments as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies and assistive technology.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Hearing Aid Practitioner in good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of hearing disorders, hearing aids and other assistive devices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to various locations throughout the community.
